How to germinate Xyris sp. seeds

Setting it up is simple; you just need to fill the tray with 4cm of peat that you have moistened beforehand by kneading it as you would with dough.

Then sow by broadcasting, carefully avoiding having the seeds clump together.

Keep the substrate well moistened by spraying with rainwater or osmosis water until the plants are large enough to be repotted into 9cm pots, preferably to limit the risk of them drying out too quickly.
