Victron BlueSmart IP22 Charger 24V/16A

The BlueSmart IP22 is a professional battery charger with unmatched efficiency, low power consumption, and integrated Bluetooth technology, allowing you to view your charger's information on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. The Blue Smart IP22 charger can also be used to charge batteries in motor vehicles and boats.

Bluetooth
You can configure, view the status, or set parameters for the charger via your smartphone. Using the VictronConnect app, which can be downloaded for free from Google Play or the App Store, you can control the charger's functions. The default voltage and current values are displayed on the screen. This application is not yet available for Windows devices.

High efficiency
With an efficiency of up to 94%, this charger generates up to four times less heat than the industry standard. Once the battery is fully charged, power consumption drops to 0.5 W (5 to 10 times less than the industry standard).

6-stage adaptive charging algorithm (Test - Bulk - Absorption - Recondition - Float - Storage)
The charger is equipped with a microprocessor-controlled "adaptive" battery management system. The adaptive function automatically optimizes the charging process.

Storage mode (less maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use)
Storage mode - if the battery has not been discharged for 24 hours. In storage mode, the voltage is reduced to 2.2 V per cell (13.2 V for a 12 V battery) in order to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive plate. Once a week, the voltage is increased to the absorption level to "equalize" the battery. This function prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation.

Charging Li-ion batteries
Li-ion batteries are charged using the Bulk - Absorption - Float algorithm.

NIGHT and LOW mode
When set to Night or LOW mode, the output current is reduced to a maximum of 50% of the nominal power and the charger is completely silent. NIGHT mode ends automatically after 8 hours and LOW mode can be terminated manually.

Overheating protection
The output current is reduced if the temperature exceeds +50°C, in order to prevent damage to the charger.
